Synopsis:
Georgia is one of the few places in the world where transhumance is still alive. Each year it takes two journeys during which people are exposed to weather conditions, diseases and wolves. The weak do not survive the journeys. It takes experience borne out of generations of knowledge to herd sheep from Azerbaijan border to Turkish border and back.

Director Biography:
Nika Tsiklauri, born 1979, Tbilisi. Graduated from TSU, BS of physics, never did anything related to physics since that. In different times she worked in fields of software development, graphic design, photography and eco tourism. Passionate about wildlife photography, bird watching, hiking, archery.
