Sinopsis:
‘Nil Levreği’, titrek siyah beyaz görüntüler eşliğinde Uganda’daki Viktoria gölünde ihracat yapmak için bulunan bir grup balıkçı teknesindeki bir balığın peşine düşüyor. El yapımı bu film hem küreselleşmenin Afrika üzerindeki etkilerine dair bir modern zaman meseli hem de istilacı bir türün ekonomik ve ekolojik etkilerine dair derin bir düşünme çabası.
Yönetmen:
Josh Gibson, Duke Üniversitesi’nin Hareketli Görüntü Sanatları bölümünde ders vermektedir ve Duke Üniversitesi’nin Deneysel ve Belgesel Sanatlar Programının yüksek eğitim fakültesi üyelerindendir. Gibson’ın ödüllü film ve videoları ulusal ve uluslararası film festivalleri ve televizyon kanallarında gösterilmiştir.
